Hot Weather Alert: Know the signs of Heat Exhausted Vs. Heat Stroke
Hi Marlins,
With the temperatures in the mid to high 90's today and an afternoon, it is VERY important for every to keep cool and stay hydrated.
For swimmers, this involves listening to their tent parents, not running around, not wearing their caps unless they are about to swim, and drinking lots of water. For parents and other spectators, this involved staying in shaded areas, being dressed for the hot weather and staying hydrated. Portable fans, misting fans, and cooling towels are also helpful on days like today.
We also want to highlight the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke so that you all know what to be in the lookout for and what to do if you suspect someone has it.
