2026 Marlins Registration

Welcome to the Brushy Creek Marlins 2026 Registration page. Thank you for your interest in our team!

If you would like to register, please read the details below to make sure you are in the right registration date window. If so, please proceed by filling out all the required information. It’s important to know that if you receive a "sold out" error message during registration, please email [email protected] with the below information for your swimmer(s).  We will get back to you as soon as possible with availability or waitlist options.

Registration Dates

  • January 13 - 26, 2026: Registration open for Brushy Creek MUD residents only
    • NOTE: Your address will be cross-referenced with a list of MUD addresses.  
  • January 27 - February 2, 2026: Returning Marlins families can register
    • NOTE: If you had one child swimming last year and now you have two, you can register them both.
  • February 3 - Until Full, 2026: New Marlins families can register

Cost for Registration

  • $230 for the first swimmer
  • $220 for the second swimmer
  • $210 for the third swimmer
  • $200 for any additional swimmer in a family
  • A few things worth noting:
    • No refunds for canceled registrations outside of the new swimmers not passing the April 2026 New Swimmer Evaluation. For swimmers not passing evaluation, they will be refunded the full registration minus $30 to cover the credit card fees, SwimTopia fees and credit card refund fees. Refunds due to medical or other hardships may be granted with Registrar and Head Coach approval.
    • A shirt is included with your registration cost
    • The team swim cap is NOT included in your registration fee. Team swim caps are required for participation in the meets. Swim caps purchased during registration are priced at a discounted cost. If you are new to the team, you will need to purchase a cap at registration.
    • Team swim caps will be available for purchase at every swim meet (sometimes they rip).
  • If you have any concerns about registering your swimmer, please contact the Registrar via email.

  • New accounts will be sent an email confirmation message with instructions to set up a password.
  • At least one parent/guardian is required to volunteer.
  • Previously registered parents/guardians cannot be edited during registration. Please contact your team's admin to request edits.

Divisional Meet Attendance

Are your swimmer(s) planning to attend the NWSC Divisional Meet on Saturday, June 27, 2026? If the answer is No, please reach out to a Brushy Creek Marlins coach prior to completing the 2026 registration process. There is an expectation that ALL swimmers attend the Championship meet. This is the biggest meet of the season, and we need every swimmer in attendance. *

Cancellation and Refunds

Commitment for Parent Involvement at Meets

Each family is required to volunteer (1) shift for each child swimming, at EACH meet, that their swimmer(s) will be attending. A family does not need to do more than (2) shifts per meet. Failure to comply may forfeit swimmer participation in the Brushy Creek Marlins swim practices and meets for the designated season.

Photography & Videography

No photography, videography or cell phone usage is allowed in the bathrooms, behind the blocks or behind relay swimmer starts at any time. Team Photographers and parents are allowed to use photography and videography as long as not in restricted areas.  No photo/videos are allowed of a swimmers from behind.  Per USA Swimming Safe Sport: While the great majority of images are appropriate and are taken in good faith, it is a fact that images can be misused and children can be put at risk if common‐sense procedures are not observed.

Team Participation Acknowledgement

The Brushy Creek Marlins are a swim team and not intended to be used for youth swim lessons only. Swimmers are required to attend a minimum of (2) regular swim meets AND the Divisional Championship Meet on the last Saturday of the season (June 27, 2026). There is an expectation that ALL swimmers attend the Championship meet. This is the biggest meet of the season, and we need every swimmer in attendance.

Swimmers are required to attend a minimum of (2) swim practice days a week in order to participate in that week’s meet. In addition, to swim at the Divisional (Championship) meet at the end of the season, your swimmer needs to have attended (2) swim meets prior to that Championship meet.

NWSC Code of Conduct 2026

Northwest Swim Circuit Code of Conduct The Northwest Swim Circuit (NWSC) strives to develop young swimmers through fitness, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship. This Code of Conduct ensures a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants, including swimmers, coaches, officials, board members, volunteers, guests and spectators. 

Standards of Conduct 

The NWSC values sportsmanship poolside and beyond. We aim to provide a safe, supportive environment for all swimmers, coaches, volunteers and officials, as well as an enjoyable atmosphere for all families and spectators. Anyone creating an unsafe environment or interfering with the meet will be asked to leave the event immediately. 

Encouraged Behaviors 

Participants should exhibit: 

  • Sportsmanship: Honor the spirit of competition by encouraging teammates and competitors alike. 
  • Respect: Treat everyone with dignity, whether from the home team or opposing teams. 
  • Inclusivity: Make everyone feel welcomed and valued. 

Prohibited Behaviors 

Participants must avoid: 

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct: Insults, taunts, aggressive gestures, arguments, or other disruptive behaviors. 
  • Violent altercations: Physical aggression, pushing, hitting, slapping, fighting, or inappropriate horseplay. 
  • Sexual misconduct: Inappropriate touch, gestures, sexual advances, nudity, or use of pornography. 
  • Disorderly behavior: Foul, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, obscene, or abusive language or gestures. 
  • Bullying and harassment: Disrespectful or intimidating behavior, in any form, is strictly prohibited. 
  • Non-Compliance: Participants must respect and comply with official decisions without argument. 

Reporting and Accountability 

If a participant observes or experiences behavior that violates this code, they should report it immediately to the Meet Director or other authority. Escalating or retaliatory behavior is also considered a violation and failure to comply. 

Penalties for Violations 

  • • Minor: 
    • Verbal warning by the Meet Director or authority. 
  • • Major or Repeat: 
    • Penalties may include warning, ejection from the event, or ejection from the meet, as determined by the Meet Director or authority. 
  • • Severe: 
    • Immediate ejection and potential review by the NWSC Board, which may lead to suspension or a ban of the individual or the entire family from future participation in NWSC teams and events. 

Review and Appeals Process for Violations 

All violations will be subject to review by the NWSC Board under the investigative authority of the Vice President. Participants have the right to appeal decisions by submitting a formal written request via their NWSC Representative within 72 hours of the infraction.
