Hello Marlins Families,

Can you believe it’s already March? Only a couple more months until the season officially starts!! We are so excited and can’t wait to see everyone on deck! Before we get underway, we need to see all of our New Marlins for their swim evaluations.

As you may recall from the registration details, anyone who is a NEW swimmer to the Brushy Creek Marlins is required to pass a Swim Evaluation to officially be a part of the team. All swimmers will be required to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted. It will be up to the coach’s discretion if a swimmer does or does not pass the swim evaluation.

We will have (3) opportunities for new swimmers to complete their evaluation at the Sendero Springs Pool. Just pick which one works best with your calendar. Those dates/times are:

• Monday, April 13th at 5pm
• Friday, April 17th at 5pm
• Saturday, April 18th at 10:30am

All you need to bring/wear is a:

• Swimsuit (preferably a competition suit)
• Towel
• Goggles
• Cap (if you have one)
• A smile
• Positive attitude
